Do you remember... It’s the first day of a new phase of your life.  You are filled with all types of questions:

‘Will the others accept me?’

‘What will they expect me to do?’

‘Is this my scene?’

The last thing you pay attention to, is the overwhelming amount of information you are bombarded with.

One of these, is your PAB registration.

Why do you have to register with PAB??

PAB looks after your information on the NLRD, which is a national database with everybody’s names and learning record.  If anybody wants to query your qualifications, they can ask the people at SAQA to look you up!  If your details aren’t on there, they won’t find you!  So we at PAB make sure that your information is correct, and we upload your achievements to the NLRD.

PAB looks after the quality of your learning and assessment.

We ensure that everything is done the way it should be.

If you ever have a problem with your assessments, we can help!

For instance, if ever you write an assessment which contains questions on work you haven’t done yet...

Or, if your assessor is not paying attention during your practical assessment...

Remember, if ever you have a problem, you must first try and resolve it with your assessor, moderator, lecturer or principle.
